itamin C is said to have a very positive impact on our health. Scientists in China are currently testing whether vitamin C can also be used against the corona virus (Covid-19). Is the vitamin able to keep the corona virus at bay? You can find a recipe here.
Vitamin C has always been a real miracle cure. It stimulates our immune system, stimulates the blood circulation and helps against stress - the set-up can be continued for a long time. However, the most famous is vitamin C as a flu killer, even if at this point, according to more recent research, compromises would have to be made.
Still, researchers hope there are other areas where vitamin C could help. There is active global research, e.g. the effect of the vitamin on metabolic diseases or against memory loss. At the moment the focus is on the corona virus (Covid-19). For this reason, we have prepared a recipe for you with which you can prepare your own natural vitamin C.
The production of the vitamin C food additive:
For this recipe you need selected organic citrus fruits (lemons, oranges, grapefruits, limes or mandarins). Please pay attention to the fresh and the origin.
Here's how you do it:
- Wash fruits thoroughly (with warm water you get the wax and impurities away well)
- Peel off the outer skin with a peeler and spread it airily on a clean kitchen towel
- Leave to stand for a few days at room temperature until the dishes are really dry and brittle
- Grind finely in a coffee grinder
- Store the finished powder in a screw jar
The homemade vitamin C powder does not have to shy away from comparison with purchased vitamin C supplements.
You can e.g. Sprinkle over the breakfast cereal, mix with yoghurt or enrich healthy smoothies with it. The powder has a very high vitamin C content, so it can ideally arm your immune system against the corona virus.
Important: Please note that vitamin C should not be exaggerated. Too much vitamin C can attack your tooth enamel as well as your kidneys. Use it as needed, so really only to supplement your diet and strengthen your immune system.
